The better performance of VHB Tape means it can often be used to replace mechanical fasteners for joining a broad range of materials. Very High Bonding Tapes are made from an acrylic polymer material united to form one substance. There is no separate backing, but as an alternative a thick material that bonds to a variety of surfaces. Acrylic double sided tapes are designed for applications where a eternal bond is needed and expected.
